GOAL OF THE GAME to be the first to collect 6 pieces of cheese in your hole. PREPARATION FOR THE GAME IMPORTANT! Before starting the game, you need to cut out the tokens along the dotted line. Lay out the playing field in the center of the table. Place the cut out piece of cheese tokens in the center of the playing field on a large head of cheese. Mix the cards thoroughly and place the deck face down next to the playing field. Choose your chips and place them each in their own hole, which will be the start. PROGRESS OF THE GAME All participants play as small nimble mice trying to replenish their holes with a delicious cheese delicacy. Decide in any way convenient for you who will go first. Next, the right of movement is transferred clockwise. On his turn, the player rolls the dice and moves the mouse piece along the track in any of the allowed directions by the appropriate number of cells. Two players can stop on the same cell at once, but the mice do NOT give each other the cheese. The task of each player is to get on the head of cheese, stopping on a cell with a ladder, take the cheese and return with it back to their hole. If the player reaches the cell with the stairs using fewer points than the ones rolled on the die, then the remaining points are burned. It is difficult for little mice to bring down a lot of cheese at once, so each mouse can only take one piece. But sometimes a mouse can get lucky and, having received a lucky card, he has the right to grab two pieces at once (see the description of the card below). In order to get down from the big head of cheese, the mouse will need a parachute. Taking a piece of cheese (the player places the token next to the playing field), the mouse must choose which parachute he will use to descend. To do this, the player rolls the dice and “lowers” his mouse chip onto the field cell corresponding to the value rolled on the die. Now the mouse must return to his hole without falling into the clutches of the owner’s cat and without losing his prey, because only honestly stolen cheese will be safe at home. As soon as the mouse is in the house, he puts his cheese in the pantry (the player places the pieces of cheese on the cage with the mouse hole) and goes out to hunt again. If the player reaches the hole using fewer points than the ones rolled on the dice, then the remaining points are burned. If the mouse has a long way to go to his house, and he wants to take away several pieces of cheese at once, the little miner can hide the cheese in temporary storage, stopping at the cell with a hole in the floor (the player places pieces of cheese on the square). It is important to remember that one storage unit can hold no more than three pieces of cheese, and a mouse can carry no more than two pieces in its paws at a time. However, from the temporary storage, unlike the mink, other mice can steal the cheese (if one of the opponents in the game has the “Grab the Cheese” card in their hands, see the description of the card below). Therefore, when hiding the cheese in temporary storage, the mouse must be careful and check if there are other mice nearby. - Also on the field, the mouse may encounter a mousetrap, and if it falls into it, it will have to skip the next move. At the same time, he does not lose the cheese he has in his paws. - Having stood on the square with the image of cards, the participant must take the top card from the deck. The received card can be played either immediately or at a convenient moment, so the player must hold the existing cards in his hand so that the other participants do not see them. Played cards are discarded. In case of receiving a card, the player can either catch luck by the tail or suffer defeat. COMPLETION OF THE GAME In the game, the first participant to collect six pieces of cheese in his hole wins. If players do not want to end the game at this stage, they can play until there are no tokens left in the center of the field.
